Community History of BMM project

On February 4, 2022 (UTC), our project experienced a severe crisis.

A member of our team, Summer from Thailand, is mainly responsible for marketing in the BMM team. He and the rest of the team said that he had been invited from the Gate.io exchange. He claimed he could help BMM Token to be listed on the Gate.io Exchange, as long as we replace the smart contract of the BMM Token, and by reducing the slippage of BMM Token.

Since the team trusted him as a member, we updated the smart contract of BMM Token at his request on February 4, 2022.

Just as we were rejoicing for the future development of the project, we found out that it was a scam fabricated by Summer. The invitation he said came from the Gate.io exchange was made up by him, he stole all the BMM Tokens owned by our team and the BMM Tokens of the game reward pool on February 4, 2022, and all the BMM Tokens in the game reward pool were stolen that night. It was sold to the market, causing the price of BMM Token to drop by as much as 99.80% that day.

Afterwards, we found that Summer had transferred all the proceeds he had obtained, and also stole all the game development materials and art materials from our team.

Since then, to avoid such events, BMM has gradually evolved into a decentralised organisation governed by the community. The result is that assets owned on a blockchain cannot be replicated or destroyed. This makes BMM current token a viable use case for the blockchain

All BMM Tokens will be distributed to all players and holders. Through the game, BMM Token holders can vote to determine the development direction of the game.

These votes can focus on the token economy of BMM, the function development of games, and the value empowerment of NFT.
